Key numbers are shown below:

• 2020 – 35GW installed worldwide
• 2030 – 380GW worldwide
• 2050 – 2,000GW worldwide

Representing growth of 7-fold from 2020 to 2030 and 8.5-fold growth from 2030 to 2050.

That’s a sustained compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over 30 years of 14.4%.
