Vidi Energy are pleased to announce in the USA a newly signed MoU with Steel Inspect.

During a visit to the USA Robert Speht, CEO of Vidi Energy, met with Maik Rienecker, CEO of Steel Inspect, to discuss future plans of collaboration.

During their meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with the intention of setting up quality management for Vidi Energy’s floating offshore assembly process, in order to work towards the global vision of standardised, automated serial assembly for offshore wind.

The collaboration of the two companies brings Steel Inspect‘s experience including quality supervision, expediting, project management and manpower, to Vidi Energy’s mass production for ready-to-float turbines.

Both Vidi Energy and Steel Inspect are attending the IPF Business Network for Offshore Wind this week in Baltimore, as both organisations are looking to expand their services in the U.S.
