Cost reductions for floating offshore wind is the subject that the staff from Vidi Energy will take with them when they visit RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind event in Manchester on 21-22 June.

Vidi Energy’s mass-assembly hubs for floating wind turbines will drive down costs and construction time, and drive up quality & safety.

The event is predicted to host 3,000 offshore wind specialists from around the world for two days and Vidi Energy will use the opportunity to engage with customers, suppliers and investors as the company builds out it’s offering which should supply the market with ready-to-float offshore wind turbines from mid-2025 onwards.

The backdrop of new and ambitious offshore and floating wind targets in multiple markets in Europe, the USA and Asia, as well as the steep increases in energy costs mean that the offshore wind and especially the floating offshore wind industry is now very buoyant.

Key staff members will be available to meet with the wider industry and interested parties are welcome to meet up with the team.
